I stayed slightly late at work on Friday night and chatted with my mom on my walk home. I mentioned I was prepping materials for a meeting Monday morning, 9am (big deal in my professional world) at the client's office. Here's a snippet of our conversation:
Me: "Yeah, but I needed to make print outs and prep for a Monday 9am meeting, so it's okay (staying late)"
Mom: "ugh, who schedules a 9am meeting Monday morning?"
Me: "Well, this time, technically me. Haha. But only because I got bummed down in priority for someone else's meetings"
It's going to be one of those weeks....starting with an early morning meeting, GIANT meeting on Wed, black time event Thursday....it's a good thing I love the mantra "work hard, play hard"
