Literally, the Snowiest January Ever

After a whopping 15.3 inches in Central Park, we've hit the record for the snowiest January in New York City ever. Even though the schools are closed and the Starbucks closest to work is closed, I am in the office. On my walk to work, I took some pictures- there are some that are pretty, some pretty ugly and a couple just having a bad day.

The Good:
 My apartment
I just thought this cab looked so pretty- may play around with the picture later to crop out some of the gross street snow
kids playing in the snow (this is UN plaza)
 Also UN Plaza

The Bad:
 Burried car!
This is snow extending from the sidewalk to the street, making it a one lane road, what isn't shown here is that coming towards this truck is a van and both people have no where to go!

The Ugly:
This snow plow is stuck....could hear the motor going but the truck wasnt' moving. The UPS truck behind hin was not happy
And finally, this is pretty bad; tree crushes cab stuck in the snow. Firetruck blocks the lane next to it for safety.
